Pilot:

The original task route was Piperton, TN to New Albany, MS to Bolivar, TN to Holly Springs, MS and back to Piperton, TN. When I got down to Potts Camp, MS, I decided to turn around and fly all the way up towards Covington, TN. If the conditions looked good there, I would jump across the Mississippi River into Arkansas towards Cherry Valley, AR. If I could make it all the way to Cherry Valley I would receive the Arkansas Wanderer Trophy. Very tough conditions west of the river as it was totally blue skies until Crowleys Ridge in Arkansas. I could not fly straight to Cherry Valley, because of the Memphis International airspace, that's why it's a big curved line as I circumnavigated the Class B airspace.
