After Bill's second flight, he said that the SE ridge was working! So at 4:30pm I launched and flew the SE ridge in the section that worked! Out to the SW, it seemed to lull out near the Bangor Offset, so I turned around and flew as far NE as I could. After getting beyond the now daunting Millbrook Powerlines, I just turned around and did laps mostly in between the Delaware Water Gap and the sunfish tower. Ridge strength was about 80 knots at ridge and the lift went up to about 1800ft MSL. What was very peculiar was that the wind seemed to be parallel in the valley up until halfway up the ridge, at which point it curled more to the South, making the ridge work and then it went back to SW probably around 2000ft MSL as this is what Mount Pocono airport was calling. SE days are always a lot of fun! A day to be on the property, for sure.
