Comment

The forecast suggested FL180 winds to be 30-40 knots with good low level winds. The only possible problem would instability in the early afternoon. Got an early start and found moderate wave. As we went north the wave weakened so we turned south at Hallelujah Junction. Later in the day the wave got stronger and we were able to pick up speed. Also, we were able to go further north turning at Herlong. Blue sky most of the day but overall a good wave day particularly for August.
