Second flight of the day that turned out much better. Top of lift at 7500' or so with 1 knot climbs and moderate SSW winds aloft. Very late launch at 15:00 and landed about 10 minutes before sunset. The late afternoon low SW sun made the westerly faces of the local terrain work much better than the previous flight. Initially set a goal to stay up until 16:00 and than pushed it to 16:30. Around 16:10 all the lift was starting to die but there was just weak half knot or less rising air everywhere. Just by flying slow I could stay up for quite a while.
