Comment
Didn't plan on flying due to forecast poor soaring conditions (20kt wind, 3500 agl cloudbase, weak lift) but took a tow anyway. Cloudstreets developed and the day was spent cruising the streets at 2500-3000 agl. Not very fast, but went 70 miles South into the wind until I could see the coast (maybe, visibility was a little milky). Expected the thermals to be hard to work with the low b/s ratio, but didn't have to stop and circle much so it didn't matter.
