Comment
Very nice October thermals in Colorado. Getting connected was a bit of a process but once up the going was great. Cloud bases were >19k! Fast run along a street to Colorado Springs. Then headed into South Park to make a nice triangle. Got to 10 miles east of Fairplay when there were already lots of signs of over-development and I felt it was prudent to return. Smoke was not real factor except along the I-70 corridor where bad air from the Williams-Fork fire drifted over the mountains. Fun flying with the Boulder gang.
