Comment
Great to fly from Byron again. Yoyo in weak wavelets between Mt Diablo and the Diablo range by Del Valle reservoir. Max altitude 11K. Slow climb in the primary behind Los vaqueros/Morgan Territory ridge up to 8K in 10-15 knots NE wind. Could not get above 8K in the primary, and the Diablo wave wasn’t working at all. Found a better wave 4 miles downwind in the secondary up to 11K where the wind was 40 knots. Soon after the wave mostly disappeared. Still a fun local XC.
