A very nice day again in the gliding paradise of Porta Westfalica!
Beautiful sunny autumn day, with predominant South wind (small variations SE - SW), with very good wave conditions. The first leg on the ridge did not work that great, but not too bad either. At first a small wave at the the Denkmal to 800MSL and after, another small wave at Rinteln to 850 MSL, then up to 3800 MSL in the Schaumburg wave (I think it would have gone even higher). A long glide to Hils to catch the Bisperode or Ith wave on my way there, which I did not find. On the way back i tried some small rotors behind the Ith ridge, without any success. Suntel was turbulent and felt like wave, but I did not find the wave there; only the rotors. Then I got low again to do some ridge runs and practice wave entries at Schaumburg.
