What a ride. AT first I thought to fly to the Pyrenees. Last check in the morning...Week conditions in the west. So, new flightplan to Austria, knowing that the strong wind would be a challenge to go to Monte Rosa. And it was ...Winds aloft, up to 180 km/h huge turbulence and big sinkrates. It looked very good to the east from Domodossola. But the new Covid measures in Italy are not encouraging to land in Italy. BUt our Italian friends showed us how good it was.So back to southwest. Crossing the Rhone valley was quite simple. It would have been easy to join the Pyrenees. ANyway, a great training day to work out the skill for the right day.
