Thanks Dan for towing and Noah for the retrieve!
A rare ridge day in June! The thermals were not all that great for most of the day, but the wind was BLOWING. Getting away from Wurtsboro was tricky and exciting, but it worked out fine. The jump to Second/Sharp was a bit hairy. Will add in a couple hundred feet next time... All the jumps thereafter were done a bit more conservatively. Getting down to Great Northern, the air got quite hazy and the cloudbase was ~4500ft. I was not excited about making the jump down to the Massanutten as it seemed doubtful I could make the upwind jump back. Instead, I flew to the end of Great Northern Mountain and then decided to make the run up to Lockhaven. Conditions were blue and the thermals were still meh through 3pm. From Lockhaven to Mahantango was tricky. The thermals were not great and the sink quite strong.
The run back to Blairstown from Bear was easy. Couldn't make the jump back to WB, got back just a little too late. Instead, I did a lap to Hawk and that should be enough distance for a NY Free 3TP Distance Record.Pilot
